Classical Music Board Games

The Virtuoso Board Game Revolves Around a Specific Trivia Category

Classical music connoisseurs rejoice, the Virtuoso Board Game is here. A trivia game like no other, it focuses on one specific category: classical music. Although it might only appeal to a very small demographic, which could very well be getting smaller with every passing day, it is nevertheless novel enough to reel in quite a few potential players.

Created by graphic design student Caleb Heisey as a graduate project for the Tyler School of Art in Philadelphia, the Virtuoso Board Game centers around an appropriate orchestra pit-shaped game board. It is played in two parts: the audition, which involves rapidly moving up chairs, and the dice, which are based on musical time signatures and beats per minute instead of the typical dots.
