Motion-Controlled Virtual Platforms

This Virtual Reality Platform Lets Users Create with Motion

While virtual reality is on the come-up right now it’s still hard to use, so a virtual reality platform that lets you create objects using movement is a welcome innovation. The Sixense MakeVR will allow users to make 3D objects and use 3D printing in new and easy ways.

Sixense is allowing this to happen using its own system called the STEM system. The system was originally created for virtual reality gaming but given the ability of the system and the popularity of virtual printing now, this only makes sense.

The system won’t use menus or buttons and simply reacts to the motion of the users hands to mold the virtual objects into a variety of shapes. Sixense even showed an example by creating a Swiss cheese style phone case with its virtual reality platform.
