Luggage manufacturer brand Rimowa has collaborated with German music equipment manufacturer brand GEWA on a special edition violin case. Additionally, Rimowa joined with French musician Renaud Capuçon who used the violin case when going to his major performance that occurred in New York City.
GEWA assisted in the project by constructing the interior of the violin case while Rimowa worked on the exterior. The interior consists of GEWA’s neck pad system with hand-finished microfiber. As for the exterior, it contains Rimowa’s signature aluminum design that comes with two TSA-approved locks and a shoulder strap. The violin case is made in a silver colorway, which fits with many other inventories in Rimowa's selection. The Gewa x Rimowa Violin Case Silver will be available at select Rimowa stores on March 23.
