Straight Jacket Wine Packaging

Vino Loco by Lola Madrid Embraces Crazy-Loving Winos

The packaging design of Vino Loco (Crazy Wine) could be considered clever, controversial or a little bit of both. The reason it might be considered controversial is the fact that there are some people out there that really do go crazy over wine. Yet clearly the intent behind Vino Loco is a lot more lighthearted than that.

Designed by creative agency Lola Madrid, Vino Loco is wrapped in what is meant to resemble a classic straitjacket in place of a more traditional label. The bottles are then stored in a padded white box, which represents the cell of a mental institution. Overall, it is a playful concept that will entertain many while perhaps offending just a few.
