Ballerina Bodysuit Collections

The Viktor & Rolf Spring 2014 Couture Collection Showed in Paris

Fanciful minimalism is probably the best way to describe the new Viktor & Rolf Spring 2014 Couture show that took place this week. The collection was clearly inspired by ballet, and Viktor Horsting and Rolf Snoeren even went so far as to cast real ballerinas as models in the show. Large frizzy hair fell down in front of the dancer's faces. On the back wall was a massive advertisement for the label's new fragrance, Bonbon.

Surprisingly skin-like bodysuits wafted down that runway at the Viktor & Rolf Spring 2014 Couture show. The suits covered most of the body and were made to look like different kinds of revealing outfits. You had to sometimes squint to realize that what you are looking at is just one piece of fabric. Drawn on are pink bows, birds and ruffles.
