Wearable Led TVS

Dave Forbes' Video Coat Was Created for Burning Man

Although the Video Coat was not created by a costume or fashion designer, I can easily see it being donned by a celebrity performer such as Lady Gaga or even Cee Lo. Loud and flashy, it wold create quite the spectacle on stage, that's for sure. Therefore, don't be surprised if you see the Video Coat used in a more commercial manner sometime in the near future.

That said, the Video Coat was actually created by Dave Forbes who built it to wear to Burning Man, an annual art event and temporary community based on radical self expression and self-reliance in the Black Rock Desert of Nevada. Essentially a giant wearable LED television, the Video Coat operates by being plugged into an iPod or DVD player and is powered by a 12V battery.
