Sultry Tropical Campaigns

Adriana Lima Stars in the Versace for Riachuelo Campaign

The incredible Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott shot Adriana Lima in the Versace for Riachuelo Summer 2014 campaign.

Nightclub-lighting causes Lima's skin to look a muted, purple-ish shade against the electrifying color backgrounds (featuring cut-out tropical trees and fruit) she is shot against. Lima's garments, chosen by fashion editor Patti Wilson, are equally-as-electrifying. Every piece is loud and eye-catching, announcing its presence with dynamic colors and prints, in typical Versace fashion. Think slinky leopard print dresses, gem-encrusted shirts and blouses festooned with tropical fare like seashells and hibiscus.

Lima's sleek black hair was styled by hair expert Akki Shirakawa, while makeup artist Sammy Mourabit applied dark eyeliner and lipstick that pops in an illuminated ultraviolet shade.
