Samsung Electronics introduced a collaboration with Verily Life Sciences to link Galaxy Watch8 sensor streams with Verily’s Pre precision health platform, featuring Viewpoint Evidence for research access. The integration will route structured and unstructured multimodal data from the watch into Verily’s Refinery and Workbench tools, enabling harmonization, analysis and AI/ML modeling for sponsors.
The partners said the effort will let life sciences organizations and governments combine Verily’s longitudinal datasets from consented participants with Samsung wearable data, recruit and engage Samsung users for studies, and explore jointly developing new clinical research solutions. For consumers and researchers this matters because it expands the pool of real-world, consumer-grade wearable signals available for validated digital measures, speeding evidence generation and making large-scale remote studies more feasible.
