Overtly Expressive Editorials

The Velvet Italy May 2012 Moldovan Photshoot is Highly Mobile

The Velvet Italy May 2012 Diana Moldovan editorial is overtly expressive. The production, which is entitled 'Etno Remix,' displays an array of palpable emotions, showcasing the Romanian model within tired, happy and angry guises.

The Etno Remix editorial was captured by the Takay photography brand. The range of sentiments displayed here have been bolstered by eccentric outfits that actually accommodate movement. Wide-legged baggy pants and feathered scarves follow Moldovan's aggressive path, flinging pieces of string and stitching in the air as she merged into different personas. These well-chosen ensembles were selected by stylist Laura Bianchi who worked with western, tribal and classic office looks. The focus however is not upon the apparel, but rather upon the multitude of contortions assumed by Moldovan.
