A.F. Vandevorst created an atmosphere from 500 AD England during the Vandevorst Spring 2010 show in Paris. There were beautifully layered browns, sometimes sheer, sometimes clunky knits, but almost always belted over in leather.
Some looks featured loosened corsets, but even better were the architectural, armored bodices complete with peg holes at the joints. The Vandevorst Spring 2010 show distinguished the ladies from the brutish warriors with sexy nude hot shorts and stockings. On a styling point, each model’s hair was whimsically blown to one side, giving the feeling they were facing some serious westerly wind as they trekked the runway passes.
