Valentino Man FW 2012 Collection is Subtle and Sharp

The Valentino Man FW 2012 collection is subtly rebellious.

Designers Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pierpaolo Piccioli have brilliantly added bad-boy character to classical pieces. The detailing of the apparel’s silhouettes remains traditional and sharp. Looking closer, however, the contemporary strength of the line becomes apparent. Hem lines are cropped to expose the sockless ankle of the models, accentuated by a skinny-cut trouser. The formal aspects of the line embody a contemporary sense of masculinity without conforming to the basic standards of tailoring. The collation also carries bolder pieces, such as a green leather suit jacket and a series of man-purses. The models were clad with boxy leather clutches in traditional hues: royal blue, beige, rogue and black.

The Valentino FW 2012 collection is perfect for the rebel keeping up that clean-cut appearance.
