A German baker is 'vaccinating' donuts to fight some of the misconceptions and fear surrounding the COVID-19 antidote. Fear mongering is a serious issue within the media, so the workers at Schuerner’s Baking Paradise opted to create a novelty experience that eased some of the anxiety surrounding the technology.

Consumers can choose between 12 different flavors of jelly, which have been pre-packaged into large syringe-shaped vessels. Once the flavor is selected, an employee will inject the donut with the 'syringe', also being referred to as the 'Donut Vaccine.' In addition to this experience, the jelly-filled donut arrives with a novelty vaccine certificate, making for a friendly social media-ready moment that adds a bit of laughter to one's day.
