Those who wish their kitchen could be a little more condensed should check out the V Kitchen. This conceptual chef space was designed by Andreas Vardas and Nick B. Nikolaou. The V Kitchen is meant to make cooking as efficient as possible by putting everything you need at arm's reach.
This design includes the standard kitchen amenities such as a stove, sink and fridge, but it also comes with some awesome extras. On the backside of the V Kitchen is a wine fridge, and on the far right end there's a bookshelf for cookbooks. Contemporary kitchens are often spread out over a wide space. This provides immense counter space and room, but it also means that going from the cupboard to the stove can be a journery. The V Kitchen is a great compromise between the cluttered and cavernous kitchen, providing just enough room to let chefs roam.
