W2 Unveils Its Latest Flash Drive-Inspired Luxury Travel Trailer

New Zealand-based architecture and design company W2 has revealed its latest USB-inspired travel trailer, the Romotow T8. The travel trailer was initially thought out in 2012 as digital renderings, followed by a prototype design in 2018. Furthermore, the travel is made to be shaped similarly to a USB flash drive that comes with a swivel cap.

The Romotow T8 is measured less than 10 meters long, comes with a 200-Ah lithium battery, and features an automatic folding mechanism that allows it to transform from camp to travel mode in less than a minute. In travel mode, the travel trailer has a minimalistic and aerodynamic design. The entire living section swings outwards in camp mode with an open faux patio. It can also be optioned with a built-in grill, an outdoor kitchen, patio furniture, and canvas screens. As for the interior, the kitchen has two different floorplans and two configurations of a dinette. Consumers can choose between a 4-person table with the standard double bed or a 6-person dining table with two loft beds. Additional amenities include top-shelf appliances, wall-mounted TVs, an outdoor projector system, and a multi-zone sound system. The Romotow T8 is available for a starting price of $268,500.
