Seven Sundays & SunOpta Created a Cereal Line with OatGold

Seven Sundays launched the first-ever oat protein cereal made with SunOpta's OatGold, a nutrient-rich upcycled oat protein powder, which is a byproduct of oat milk production. Hannah Barnstable, founder of Seven Sundays, says "The leftover product from producing oat milk has three times the protein, twice the fiber and significantly more nutrients compared to already nutritious whole rolled oats."

These upcycled cereals are being introduced to sustainably minded consumers in varieties like Simply Honey and Super Fruity, making them a breakfast choice that's both nutrient-dense and sustainable.

Food products made with upcycled ingredients are gaining prevalence in response to consumer desires for sustainable and innovative options that reduce food waste while providing delicious and nutritious choices.
