Morbid Crowdsourced Competitions

Funeral Company Promotes Harley Hearse with Moniker Contest

The Anderson-McQueen Funeral & Cremation Centers are having a contest to name their Harley Hearse. More than 300 entries have been submitted, including Meat Wagon, Death Trap, Ash Hauler, and Dead Sled.

The top finalists are: Glory Ride, Heavenly Hawg, Iron Hearse, Peaceful Rider, and Revvin’ to Heaven. Vote for your favorite at the Name the Ride website below.

In case you haven’t heard, Harley die-hards who "Live to Ride, Ride to Live," can also add "Died to Ride," to their credo. It just takes some out-of-the-box thinking in the form of the ‘Harley Hearse.’ The ride to die for is an option offered by several funeral homes and burial services around the U.S.

The Harley Hearses are made by the Tombstone Hearse Co. of Alum Bank, Pa., who holds trademarks and patents on their production. The bikes are typically Harley Road Kings converted to trikes.

Is that HOG heaven or what?
