Emoticon Themed Yoga

Charlotte Bell's Unique Yoga Classes Feature Poses Inspired by Emojis

If you frequently choose to express yourself through emojis, you should check out Charlotte Bell's unique yoga classes in London. Emoji Yoga was created by the 20 year old Londoner, who offers private lessons in Hackney and UCL. Classes are scheduled using Emojli, the emoji-only social network. Bell will send emojis to class-takers via WhatsApp and then notify them of locations via regular text messages.

Inspired by classic emojis, the yoga flow poses were captured recently by the London Evening Standard's Sam Mitchell. Bell told the Evening Standard's Nimrod Kamer her unique yoga classes commence with moves simulating the turd emoji with a fetal-like position. Participants "then stretch out for a screaming cat-face emoji, then an angry yellow person with facemask posture, followed by a dancing lady with a red dress asana."
