CallisonRTKL Made a Unique Dog House Out of 1,000 Tennis Balls

Like human houses, dog houses tend to be somewhat rectilinear but 3D printing is revolutionizing architecture and helping to create unique dog houses too. CallisonRTKL created an unusual dog house to benefit the SPCA of Texas that boasts a 3D-printed modular support structure, which is capable of holding over 1,000 tennis balls. As well as being interesting to look at, the design of the dog house is practical too, as the balls can be pulled out for play. This also means that the structure can be artfully designed by strategically arranging the tennis balls and voids.

The easy-to-construct dog house requires no tools to put it together and thanks to its modular design, it can be scaled accordingly based on the size of a dog.
