'Under Foot' by Nic Joly Turns a Hobby into a Full-Time Occupation

'Under Foot' by Nic Joly is a collection of tiny handmade figurines created to look ready to take on the world.

The sculptures are rather small, about the length of one centimeter and 0.5 centimeter in width. UK-based Joly started sculpting these miniature people for the sake of entertaining his two children, but it soon became his full-time job.

The miniature people are made with clay, wire and paper without having to use a magnifying glass. Joly must have stellar eye vision because his sculptures look really well-crafted and meticulously detailed. It takes Joly about four days to a week to complete a figurine, and with each finished the artist then looks forward to completing his next project.
