"Beauty Eats Brains" just about sums up the My Zombie Pinup calendar which combines a 1950's pinup style with a campy zombie look. Two American artists, Shalaco Sching and Robyn Elizabeth Malter came up with the zany idea.
They loved the old fashioned pin up sex appeal approach and said, "Adding the zombie element seemed like a natural and hilarious next step. The challenge was to finding the balance between the gore and beauty." In the end, most girls required 4-6 hours of makeup and hair time for the photo shoot which took place in various locations on the West Coast.
The limited edition calendars are only $20 each. The pair are already planning way ahead to a gory, glamorous 2010 calendar.
