Uncovering Alcoholism

These PSA Ads Reveal The Ugly Reality

The line between enjoying drinking and having fun and being an alcoholic is often fuzzy. It is difficult for a person to realize when he has crossed that line.

These new PSA ads from the Polish alcoholic anonymous organization Rzeczpospolita highlight this important issue and urge people who think they might have an alcohol problem to seek professional support and help.

The ads use images of people having a good time while holding alcohol glasses and bottles. However, the view through the alcohol glass reveals a different ugly reality. The visuals are complemented with the copy, "Suddenly it got scary? It’s hard to tell when fun becomes disease. Don’t try to check it yourself."

The campaign is created by BBDO Warszawa (Warsaw, Poland).
