Umbrellas with Feet

The Stand by Tsuboi

The Stand Umbrella does just that--it stands by itself. No more propping up umbrellas only to find them falling down. It stays up because it has feet! But not just feet--the right tripod-like support structure to correct its center of gravity and the weight of a handle so that it won't fall to one side. Sometimes the simplest designs are those that make us wonder why somebody didn't think of them before.

The Stand umbrella comes in black and white. It is lightweight because it is made from ABS plastic and aluminum. It is affordable at 4,200 Yen or $41 U.S. dollars.

The designer is Hironao Tsuboi for 100%.
