You know what they say: go big, or go home! The Megaboom is nearly twice the volume of the Boom, weighing an impressive 1.93 pounds stretched over its 8-inch-tall cylindrical body. Despite its larger size, the Megaboom remains easily transportable.
Beyond its size, the Megaboom speaker also features several design improvements; for instance, the speaker is now completely waterproof (as opposed to water-resistant) and the speaker now has a better Bluetooth range, which spans 100 meters, and operates using Bluetooth Smart.
