Sportswear giant Under Armour has debuted a truly innovative training shoe called the 'UA SlipSpeed,' which features a one-of-a-kind convertible heel design, a built-in BOA® Fit System, and a striking pink and white colorway.
According to the company, the design for the new shoe was informed by feedback from actual athletes who collectively voiced their desire for a more multidimensional workout sneaker. In particular, players said they were tired of switching trainers between workouts. While receiving this feedback, Under Armour also took note of the tendency for athletes to crush the heels of their shoes and unlace them after a hard workout, essentially turning their sneakers into easy-wearing slides.
As a result of these insights, UA has reimagined the traditional training shoe, introducing a sneaker with a truly multifunctional design, an automatic lacing system, and a crushable heel; now, players can turn their sneakers into slides without comprising their structure.
