+81 Magazine Creates Typography with Ink-Injected Bubble Wrap

In what looks like a gem-studded panel, an issue of Japan's +81 magazine was released with an ingenious typographic artwork made entirely with bubble wrap.

The design was created by Spanish firm La Siento, and went through a labor-intensive process for the special volume. Each bubble was manually injected with blue ink to spell out "Next Creativity" on the cover, and was designed specifically to withstand the mailing process. The bright blue-bejeweled bubbly magazine is a head turner fitting for such a fashion-forward publication. It will surely encourage curious minds to pick up the publication.

Tokyo-based +81 is a bilingual magazine that specializes in creative fashion, photography, music, film and interviews from Japanese and international artists.
