Typ Offers an Updated Take on Classic Furniture Pieces

Typ is a new furniture brand presented by Helen Thonet and Florian Lambl. The brand's collection uses traditional and historical design codes with a modern twist to create timeless pieces. Typ collaborated with contemporary creatives such as Jasper Morrion, Klements Schillinger, and Mike Meiré to put together a unique range.

The elevated furniture designs marry the past and the future, featuring pieces like lounge seats and chairs designed by 1920s legend Erich Dieckmann and a 1930s tubular steel chair made by Practical Equipment. The pieces are re-engineered by collaborating designers to create sleek and modern pieces. Typ's inaugural collection also includes an aluminium chair by Austrian designer Klemens Schillinger, inspired by outdoor bistro chairs, among other chic items.
