Cozy Timber Hideaways

This Set of Twin Cabins is Small and Enclosed to Ensure Privacy

Upon looking at this set of twin cabins, its purpose may seem shrouded in mystery. These cozy cabins however, are placed on a sloped hill overlooking the Tasman Sea and are used as vacation homes.

The cabins sit close to each other with curved roofs facing the water. Large windows create views of the coast and the hill, but solid walls on each side create a visual barrier to avoid sight of the neighboring home.

The architects wanted to place the twin cabins on subtle dips and folds on the hill, rather than on top or at the bottom, to create a semi-private space. The cabins are meant to flow with the natural landscape and be a part of it, rather than be something that watches over it.
