On Point Twiggy Editorials

The Dansk Magazine Twiggs & Shrimp Photoshoot is Retro

The Dansk Magazine Twiggs & Shrimp editorial is made in the exact image of Twiggy. Model Nadja Bender channelled the former actress and icon with exceptional detail, getting at her attitude and of course, trademark looks.

Make up expert Zenia Jaeger enabled Bender to resemble Twiggy in detail here with exaggerated eye liner, mascara and winged eye shadow. In charge of hair was Cim Mahony who opted for short crop do's in some of the snapshots and tousled bouffant styles in others. Both are directly tied to Twiggy, providing a retrospective review of the 1960s. Those who pick up a copy of Dansk Magazine's Spring/Summer 2013 issue will be privy to this Twiggs & Shrimp photoshoot, taken by none other than Hasse Nielsen.
