i-D Magazine Pays Homage to 12 British Mega Models

Magazine double covers are not unusual and neither are quadruple covers, although the latter still catches me by surprise. But a magazine issue with 12 different covers? Yes, that's rare.

Shot by Sølve Sundsbø to pay homage to Britain’s models and so-called "it" girls, the covers of the March issue of i-D Magazine’s "Best Of British" features the usual suspects such as Naomi, Kate and Aggy but also features relatively new comers such a Jourdan Dunn, Lily Donaldson, Alice Dellal, Daisy Lowe, Eliza Cummings and others.

Surprisingly, the issue goes back to the 1960’s and 1970’s when it seemed like Twiggy was the "it" girl of the whole world! i-D then proceeds to take us through the "me" generation of the 1980’s and 1990’s

represented by the always gorgeous Yasmin Le Bon.
