Fuzzy Felted Food Art

LeBrie Rich's Vibrant TV Dinner is Made Entirely Out of Felt

LeBrie Rich's colorful TV dinner food art is super realistic considering it's made entirely out of felt. The Oregon-based artist is a master of fiber art having made a wool TV dinner before tackling the felt medium. Using only a needle and thread and a few swatches of felt fabric, Rich was able to create a TV dinner complete with a tray of food, a Hamm's beer and even a television set showing a football game.

This TV dinner piece is a wonderful depiction of American culture. The football game and beer combination lead to a fun and vibrant tribute to the American lifestyle. Rich is moving into teaching the craft of fiber art but will hopefully continue to create these colorfully realistic felt pieces that put other food art to shame.
