The ‘Turntable Rider' Puts Regular MCs to Shame

The Japanese bike-sharing program ‘Cogoo’ has turned a BMX bike into a DJ’s dream and named it the ‘Turntable Rider.’ By transforming the wheels into turntables, the handlebars into a crossfader and the brakes into sound samplers, one can mix their own song by riding the bike.

In this video one can see the BMX bike being ridden by talented bikers who perform all sorts of crazy tricks. When the wheels turn a beat is laid down followed by voice clips and scratches which are made depending on what type of trick the rider performs. The video is mesmerizing because this is an invention that appeals to the ears, eyes and, of course, a sense of amazement.

There is no word yet if this creation will be available for consumers, but bikers probably can’t wait to get their hands on it.
