Eco-Friendly Tourist Trikes

Tuk-Tuk is Designed to Let Tourists Safely Explore Big Cities

Bicycle tours could become endangered if the Tuk-Tuk ever goes from concept to reality. Designed by French designer Audric Galzy, Tuk-Tuk is a tricycle designed to be used by tourists in large cities.

Tuk-Tuk is an electrically powered vehicle with one 15KW motor in its front wheel. The lone motor is strong enough to power the Tuk-Tuk to speeds of up to 46 mph and distances of 62 miles. Tuk-Tuk's design is ideal for tourists. The vehicle is large and fast enough to easily meld into traffic yet is small enough to be parked almost anywhere. Speaking of parking, Galzy envisions users of the Tuk-Tuk being able to drop off their rides at designated lots around the city. These lots will serve as both charging and pick-up points.

Bikes and Segway tours are probably going to be the norm for the foreseeable future. Regardles, I wouldn't sleep on an electric tricycle designed specifically for tourists.
