It seems that designing tropical modern homes is a strong suite for local Brazillian architect David Guerra. The Valley House II is a residence located on an elevation-varying site in Nova Lima -- a municipality of Minas Gerais. To emphasize natural elements and maximize exposure to light and the outdoors, David Guerra concealed the cement and stone structure within a lush jungle of bushy grass, palm trees and other tropical vegetation.
A range of sliding doors occupy the first floor, creating an apt exposure to outside greenery. To construct an indoor oasis, David Guerra surrounded the inside courtyard of the building and filled it with a range of botanic species. The Valley House II is a type of tropical modern homes that break the barrier and showcase a reached equilibrium between two vastly different environments.
