TronTable Was Designed and Built with Math and Cutting-Edge Tech

The name of the TronTable will tell you from where the item's inspiration came. Designer Marc Sadler created this complex and captivating piece of furniture as a tribute to Steven Lisberger's 1982 version of the Tron movie.

Influenced by the leaps and bounds made in the field of special effects, the creator of this domestic object employed mathematics to model this double-cone lattice of a pedestal. The components are unique modules of bent metal bars that are welded together to produce perfectly rational wireframe patterns as the table base flares and narrows.

Made for Capo d’Opera, the TronTable can be kept consistently avant-garde with the choice of metal or glass as the circular surface on top. To bring it down to earth, the buyer might opt for a textural wooden panel instead.
