Compassion-Oriented Retailers

Tribe of Lambs is a Network Supporting Kids and Rural Communities

The Tribe of Lambs tagline is simple and to the point: You Buy, We Give. The start-up socially aware business is more than a tagline, however, it's part of a movement to link consumerism and compassion, love and life, beauty and benevolence. The goodness is something that is spread all across the levels of the model: they source textiles, jewelry, home goods and the like from artisans, and once their products are sold, a portion of the profits goes to local non-profit organizations.

Their latest video, featured here, shows a September 7th, 2014 mission in which they delivered clothing and winter wear to at-risk youth in the Himalayas in the Northern Indian province of Himachal Pradesh, which is the site of their first giving project. It's amazing to watch and, like any five-star video, includes a little dancing.

To donate to the Tribe of Lambs fundraising campaign, which will end on September 19, go to their Indiegogo page. Just a few more of you committed to global change will help propel this giving-focused business model. But if you aren't in a position to donate, you can still take part. As they say, "Please take a view minutes to share our video, tell a friend, call your Grandma and if nothing else just do good in the world! Be inspired! We love you!"

And so many more are loving Tribe of Lambs.
