Ben Kingsly’s Trevor Slattery is Back in a New Short Clip

Last summer’s Iron Man 3 garnered attention for many things, one being the character of Trevor Slattery. The alcoholic actor who posed as the villain the Mandarin has reappeared in a Marvel one-shot short clip that will be made available on the Blu-Ray for Thor: The Dark World.

The clip, entitled All Hail the King, is set up as the last log in the Video diary of man named Jackson Norris, who is setting up his final interview with Trevor Slattery. Norris is frustrated that he hasn’t gotten any important information from Slattery regarding the acts of terrorism committed in Iron Man 3, or any clue as to how involved Slattery was in the affair. Meanwhile, the near-do-well actor has become an infamous celebrity. This short is funny and does a good job of filling in the blanks and adding to the world-building of the Marvel universe.
