Shinola's New Traveler Watch is Inspired by the Michigan's Landscapes

Detroit-based watchmaker Shinola has announced the launch of its new Traveler watch, which is said to draw inspiration from the sand dunes of the brand's home state of Michigan.

The distinctly Americana timepiece features an extra-slim, 42mm stainless steel case that is combined with a highly-textured dial made from pepper vellum. In addition, customers will have the choice to pair the watch with a wide range of straps, including woven canvas and whip-stitch leather.

The Traveler watch comes in four styles, each of which boasts a unique colored dial and subtle differences in detailing. However, all hour models utilize the same Swiss-made, hand-assembled Argonite 5021 quartz movement, which features chronograph functionality. For those interested, the new Traveler timepieces are currently available to purchase on Shinola's website.
