Colored Sheep Campaigns

This Tour De France Campaign Colored Sheep to Match the Yellow Jersey

There are a couple of wacky Tour de France campaigns that have been going on to celebrate cycling and this isn't the only one that involves sheep. To raise awareness about the Yorkshire Building Society’s sponsoring the Tour de France Grand Départ, 150 sheep in Yorkshire had their wooly coats dyed bright jersey colors.

The colored sheep looks included a bright yellow to match the leader's jersey, as well as green and polka dotted sheep. The sheep showed up along a field that ran along the cycling route, so it would be impossible to miss these brightly colored sheep. The vibrantly dyed wool on the sheep will be used to create knit sweaters that can be donated to a charity for kids and families in need.
