Nanoleaf's 'Touch Actions' Upgrade Looks Toward the Future

'Touch Actions' is a new update for Nanoleaf's Canvas Smarter Kit. It allows for individuals to control their smart home devices with a personal touch, rather than having to navigate commands through mobile phones.

The Canvas Smarter Kit is a network of LED light squares that have the ability to sync up to music in real-time. The hyper-connected interface and their modularity make this product ideal for the connected home. Touch Actions can turn each of these squares into a reactive one. Users can then utilize the responsive square to control all HomeKit products without ever looking toward their smartphone for assistance.

The commands of Touch Actions can be tailored to consumer preference and there are three modes that can be executed -- a single press, a double press, and a long press.
