Toronto Public Health is Asking Artists to Make a City-Centered Wrapper

In partnership with the Miami Ad School, Toronto Public Health created a contest for students and recent grads who are interested in winning a paid internship with a top-tier agency or free courses.

To enter, artists must submit their original designs in at least 300 dpi and a 250 x 250 pixel format. Although Toronto Public Health encourages entrants to incorporate the city into their designs, those who make use of the "Toronto logo or sign, Toronto sports teams and stadiums, or trademarked logos, structures or buildings (including the CN Tower)" will not be accepted.

While the paid internship is only open to the 'Student Division,' the winner of the 'Open Division' is awarded $9,000 worth of education. Meanwhile, those coming in second in each are awarded an Apple iPad mini. In addition, Toronto Public Health claims that "Millions of people will appreciate your art then tear it in half" -- as the winner's design will be included on the free condoms that are distributed in the city.
