This Firefighting Vehicle was Designed to Drive Down Narrow Indian Alleys

It's all well and good to design bigger, faster and better equipped rescue vehicles, but great advantages would come from this tiny fire truck. While North American streets can accommodate long and wide-set machines, the lanes of Europe and the alleyways of Asia could certainly benefit from more compact options.

Vivek Yadav J's emergency vehicle is proposed at just a fraction of the size, yet it's been efficiently designed to contain much more than the observer would expect. Firefighting foam would be stored in a 140-gallon on-board container, a built-in tank would hold 1,000 gallons of water, and there would be Alex dry powder available to the weight of 800 pounds. Six firefighters could fit within the cabin of this tiny fire truck, which could race down narrow passages and access any neighborhood.
