Time Telling Cogs

Clock Delay

Clock Delay was named so you could blame your tardiness on this bizarre clock. Telling the time on this device is actually easier than some of the other code watches on the market. Each of the three cogs represent the hours, minutes and seconds - where they nearly meet reveals the time.

It was designed by Bas van Leeuwen for Studio Bloomm (The Netherlands). Although the observer would consider this a rather unsual clock, the designing concept philosophy was a statement about our throwaway culture - "Rarely we repair. In this way we lost our sense of interest in technology. Clock Delay brings this feeling back.”

It's hard to imagine whether it will indeed do so but it is a cool looking stainless steel and aluminium clock nonetheless which will set you back 1280 Euros or $1962.
