Modern Rounded Bathroom Fixtures

The Tile Sashi Collection Uses a Contemporary Tile Technique

The Tile Sashi collection will captivate people by its capsule-like form first and foremost. Compact and rounded, the bathroom fixtures that make up the furniture line are as cute as they are contemporary. But what really makes them stand out is the modern tile technique for which the Tile Sashi collection was named after.

Designed by Milan-based designer Rui Pereira and Japanese designer Ryosuke Fukusada, the Tile Sashi collection is made with tiles that have been sliced into thin strips. Fukusada writes, "By slicing the tiles in thin strips we are able to give a three-dimensional configuration to a flat material, making it become part of the surface of the furniture and, in this way, mimetizing it with the
bathroom architecture."
