Mobvoi's TicWatch E3 Now Features Permobil's SmartDrive Tech

Mobvoi announced a new partnership with 'Permobil,' a global leader in rehabilitation technology, to bring 'SmartDrive PushTracker E3' technology to the 'TicWatch E3.' This technology helps manual wheelchair users learn about their health, monitor various health metrics, and stay active while using their wheelchairs. While Permobil's SmartDrive technology is now compatible with various smartwatches, such as the Apple Watch, the TicWatch E3 sets itself apart as it is the first smartwatch designed to control SmartDrive technology.

The collaborative name for the timepiece is the 'PushTrack E3,' which pays homage to the PushTracker technology as well as the TicWatch E3's name. With this smart wearable, manual wheelchair users with Permobil wheelchairs can drive, direct, and control their wheelchairs with smart, gesture-activated controls. The watch pairs with the wheelchair via Bluetooth, which then enables the ability to monitor health metrics such as heart rate, blood-oxygen level, and sleep patterns.
