One Fine Day's The Treehugger Sheds Light on Computational Designs

I find it interesting that the Treehugger is named after nature when it is a temporary pavilion set up to teach students, craftsmen and the general public about computational designs and the overall advancements in computer-aided manufacturing technology.

Considering that the Treehugger pavilion happens to look like it is encasing trees, however, the name seems a lot more appropriate. Located next to basilica St Castor in Koblenz, Germany, The Treehugger also appears to be something of an art installation. I note this because of the psychedelic light show that occurs at night, which is purported to draw in more crowds.

Of course, The Treehugger doesn't need much help in that department. Its glass, pentagonal shape is enough to entice people to take a gander. The Treehugger was designed by Düsseldorf-based One Fine Day architects.
