Sleeping Subway Beds

'The Sleeper Car' by Improv Everywhere Let People Rest Their Eyes

'The Sleeper Car' by Improv Everywhere is a prank that allowed late night subway commuters to take a quick nap.

The pranksters set up three beds complete with pillows and and blankets in the middle of the subway car. Once passengers started to board the train, the creator of Improv Everywhere, Charlie Todd, began to hand out sleep masks, pajamas and ear plugs. Todd was even dressed like an old-fashioned train conductor. People soon began to take advantage of the beds and jumped right in to take a brief nap after coming home from work.

The Sleeper Car by Improv Everywhere is a fantastic example of how one can be a prankster for good instead of causing problems for someone.
