The Plastic Pollution Coalition Sets Up Stunts in Vancouver

The Plastic Pollution Coalition recently set up a few protest style stunts in Vancouver to protest the effects of pollution on marine life. This intriguing stunt targeted large public statues and used them to demonstrate the impact that plastic pollution can have on wild life.

Using gigantic plastic six pack rings, the coalition tangled up these large animal statues. The result was definitely attention-grabbing. These great statues instantly became public eye sores as well as a great reminder to recycle plastic instead of polluting. One of these statues features two golden dolphins riding a wave. Once the Plastic Pollution Coalition finished with it, the statue was transformed into a perfect example of how plastic trash can seriously affect marine life.

It’s easy to forget how harmful plastic pollution can be to wild life. It’s harder to forget when it’s right in front of you.
