Cheetah Speed Bicycles

The Pardo Folding Bike Design Allows Cyclists to go Super Fast

The Pardo (short for the Spanish word "guepardo" meaning "cheetah") was designed by Pablo Lopez, to allow humans to simulate the animal’s travel mechanics.  This design was an entry into Innovar, a national innovations contest held in Argentina.

The pedals are located near the lower single wheel, which propels the bicycle (or I guess, technically it’s a tricycle) as shown in the diagrams.

As an added mobility feature, the Pardo can also be folded for easy transportation.
