'The National Mall' Changes Its Tune Based Upon Your Location

'The National Mall' is the latest album from D.C.-based duo Bluebrain that changes its sound based upon your current location. The album has tracks that correspond to a users location in the National Mall, the area in downtown D.C. that is home to the Washington and Lincoln monuments among others.

'The National Mall' is being released as an iPhone app in order to take advantage of the smartphone's built-in GPS. The cover art for the album is actually an artistic representation of the footpaths of the National Mall. Bluebrain is truly blazing some new ground here. Seeing as how the album is location-based, it is possible to listen to a new version of the album every day. Bluebrain is planning on making more location-based albums for Brooklyn's Prospect Park and California's Pacific Coast Highway.
