Traditional Tweed Furniture

Aodh's The Malt Collection is Inspired by Irish Fabrics and Prints

Although The Malt Collection doesn't feature any crazy shapes, colors or patterns, there is something very eye-catching about its cool and sleek aesthetic. Inspired by traditional Irish tweed, this subtle line of furniture is both casual and sophisticated, which makes it perfect for pretty much any home and its existing decor.

Designed by Dublin furniture company Aodh in collaboration with German chair designer Tom Kelley, The Malt Collection is simple and elegant, qualities that really make a place feel homey without compromising style. Considering that the line focuses on "values close to Ireland's heart: hospitality, warmth, conviviality and nature," I shouldn't be surprised that I'm so taken with the line.

The Malt Collection is comprised of nine solid oak chairs, seven of which are upholstered in local Donegal tweeds.
